Dear Premier and Ministers

Our family is deeply concerned about the proposed Regulation related to:
Services and Supports to Promote Social Inclusion of Persons with Developmental Disabilities Act, 2008.

We understand that Cabinet will be considering the approval of this Regulation to enact the legislation.

Based on the draft regulation that we have seen, this would lead to an Ontario Act that would enforce grossly unfair treatment of many people with developmental disabilities. (see the attachment or http://www.family-alliance.com/Attach-for-Cabinet.pdf )

We request that you vote against the Regulation if it does not allow direct funding for residential programs, and that the Regulation be returned to the Ministry of Community and Social Services for revision.
